The course, offered by the University of Pavia and Fondazione Riccagioia, on precision viticulture represents a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the innovations transforming the wine industry. Through the use of advanced technologies such as sensors, drones, and data analysis, participants will learn to accurately monitor and manage vineyards, optimizing resource use, improving harvest quality, and reducing waste.
This educational path provides a hands-on approach, combining classroom instruction with field exercises, allowing participants to interact directly with instructors and apply their knowledge in practical settings.
By the end of the course, students will have acquired essential skills in the use of technologies such as remote sensing and GIS for vineyard monitoring, as well as data management for implementing sustainable agronomic strategies. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to network with colleagues and industry professionals, enriching their educational journey. Upon completion, participants will earn a skills certification through an Open Badge issued by the University of Pavia.
