NODES Academy: Primary Agroindustry - 1st Edition
Info utili
The first edition of the practical and free introductory course on entrepreneurship, organized for the NODES project – Northwest Digital and Sustainable as part of Spoke 6 "Primary Agroindustry," in collaboration with ComoNExT.
This course is designed to particularly welcome ideas and projects funded through the Academic Proof of Concept (PoC) calls issued by Spoke 6. While there are no restrictions on participants, the edition is open to everyone, but the number of available spots is limited. The limit is based on teams/projects rather than the number of individual participants.
The course consists of 8 lessons: 2 in-person and 4 online.
The in-person lessons will be held at the University of Pavia, covering the first and last days of the program. During the first day, the course will be launched, objectives will be defined, and the participants/teams will be introduced. Additionally, there will be the first theoretical session on the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Proposition Canvas, including practical exercises. The final day will feature closing activities, including final pitches presented before a panel of experts who will evaluate, provide feedback, and offer advice.
The online lessons will cover theoretical topics such as market definition and competitors, budget & economics, and pitch and communication, followed by individual or team project work sessions assisted by ComoNExT tutors online.
The objective of these sessions is to apply the concepts learned during the plenary sessions to each participant's business project, utilizing operational tools such as the Business Model Canvas, SWOT Analysis, Pitch presentation, market testing tools, and timeline planning (Development Roadmap and Project Gantt Chart).
The course aligns with the NODES program by focusing on education (WP4) and entrepreneurship (WP6), and is also consistent with Spoke 6 themes, as it prioritizes the participation of projects/ideas related to primary agroindustry.
