The Challenges Posed by Climate Change to the Wine Industry: Legal Responses
On the morning of May 24th, at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, in its centennial year, a free training conference will be held on the legal responses to the effects of climate change on the wine industry. This event is primarily aimed at benefiting businesses and professionals in the sector, including lawyers, food technologists, agronomists, and experts/studies interested in the impact of the new CAP, new labeling regulations, and, more generally, the protection of the wine landscape and quality wine production in the face of climate change.
The event is part of the activities of Spoke 6 within the NODES innovation ecosystem, providing an integrated view of these aspects.
The audience will be invited to participate in a debate coordinated by journalist Carlo Gariboldi, aimed at bringing together various perspectives and initiating new synergies and collaborations with the production sector and all interested stakeholders. The conference, included in the calendar of the Sustainable Development Festival (coordinated by OSA), has received patronage from the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the Institute of Advanced Studies of Pavia (IUSS), as well as recognition as a professional training activity by the Bar Association of Pavia and the Order of Agronomists and Foresters. It is part of the Sustainable Development Festival week.
The event is free, and entry will be granted until the venue's maximum capacity is reached (80 seats).
Registration is required via the provided registration link.
Organizing and Scientific Committee: Professor Carola Ricci, Dr. Aldo Piccone.
