Description

The course aims to contribute to the training of professionals who approach the agro-zootechnical enterprise with a systemic focus on innovation and economic and environmental sustainability. Attendants are intended to play a key role in the fields of research and development and consultancy within agro-zootechnical companies.

Specifically, the course will enable participants to acquire and consolidate skills in the rapidly evolving agro-zootechnical sector. Innovation, efficiency, sustainability, and animal welfare are key aspects of the present and future of animal husbandry.

Through thematic modules, the course will address the most current challenges faced by agricultural enterprises, requiring technicians and consultants to approach them. By the end of the course, participants will gain advanced skills in physiology, nutrition, and animal welfare; expertise in adapting to climate change and improving the economic and environmental sustainability of agro-zootechnical enterprises; and a comprehensive understanding of the key processes governing agro-zootechnical firms.

The training will be conducted by professors from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and other renowned Italian and international universities, and visits to Cerzoo, the experimental agricultural company of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, will be organized. The course will also provide an opportunity for discussion and exchange on current issues and networking
