The University of Insubria organizes the Innovation Camp for PhD students, a course dedicated to PhD students and aimed at disseminating the concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation and developing related hard and soft skills, addressing the issues and specific challenges related to technology transfer and economic exploitation of research results.
After some introductory lessons on the world of startups and its economic and legal peculiarities, the course includes a session dedicated to in-depth analysis of the Lean Startup Approach and the main tools for validating and launching a business idea. Best practices relating to the preparation and delivery of an effective pitch will be addressed.
At the end of this path, participants will be able to apply the main knowledge relating to the Lean Startup approach in a relevant and critical way, creating an innovative business idea proposal built in a team and presenting it effectively in front of a jury of experts .
By working in a team, participants will be able to use and enhance the knowledge acquired in the theoretical introductory lessons, acquiring soft skills relating to public speaking, team building, problem solving and time management typical of a project-based activity such as proposing an innovative solution.
Course duration:
7 meetings from 04/05/24 to 06/26/24 lasting 24 hours plus a day of presentation and final pitch of variable duration (see the attached poster)
