The renewable energy community (CER) is a non-profit legal entity based on the open and voluntary establishment and participation of members such as individuals, authorities and local bodies including municipal administrations, SMEs and condominiums, with the aim of producing energy from renewable sources through plants controlled by the community and consuming it as much as possible in a shared way among its members. CERs offer benefits not only related to the energy dimension but also in the social, environmental and territorial spheres. Through the development of CERs, the construction of supply chains for the local development of the territory and the stimulation of new entrepreneurship is pursued.
CERs are an essential fixed point today for a Smart City and can be an element of social cohesion in the territory that has implications for the different age groups of the citizens of the Municipality of reference for the interests of the community towards the accommodation facilities of student residences and social residences also for the elderly, in correlation with university departments and the functional centers of the health and sports medicine sector.
The aim of the course is, therefore, to offer training on the various opportunities that CERs present throughout the entire design, construction, maintenance and implementation chain, paying attention to its environmental benefits (working methods that always allow us to operate ethically according to an environmentally friendly model), economic benefits (CERs support the relaunch of SMEs that can find a role in the development, construction, operation and maintenance of renewable plants) and social benefits (CERs develop a productive spin-off and new local employment; they allow autonomous production, consumption and local storage of electricity), as well as the enhancement of the territory (cost optimization, increase in the reputation of the place, development of the tourist experience).
The function of the course proposed here can be summarized in the satisfaction of the needs for specialized professional training of operators in the territory of various sectors (public and private) in an area that constitutes and will continue to constitute in the near future one of the fields of specialization and employment of human resources.
The course aims to train public and private sector operators in the field of energy community development methods for the development and enhancement of the territory.
The professional opportunities offered may concern:
1. the technical and legal offices of PAs;
2. law firms;
3. the legal offices of companies in the energy and tourism sector;
4. tourism and hospitality companies;
5. companies that deal with communication in this sector in various capacities.
