Field Demonstration Day: Precision Agriculture and Variable Rate Fertilization

The Department of Agricultural, Forest, and Food Sciences at the University of Turin, in collaboration with Corteva and UPTOFARM, is organizing a field demonstration day aimed at farmers, technicians, and anyone interested in precision agriculture techniques and variable rate fertilization.
The event is part of the Academic Proof of Concept DIGI-FERT, developed by the Department of Agricultural, Forest, and Food Sciences at the University of Turin as part of Spoke 6. DIGI-FERT is a demonstration project for precision and digital fertilization with variable rate distribution of mineral fertilizers and digestate (Scientific Director: Professor Massimo Blandino). The project aims to demonstrate the advantages of variable rate (VR) application of both digestate and synthetic nitrogen fertilizers, comparing them with conventional fixed rate application.
The demonstration day, conducted at a representative cereal production farm, will provide a unique opportunity to observe advanced precision fertilization techniques and evaluate their agronomic, productive, economic, and environmental sustainability benefits.
Registration is not required to attend.
