PAYLOAD AND SERVICES

A well-designed, reliable, resilient, and optimized payload is required for the success of many aerospace ventures, as it ensures mission objectives are met efficiently and reliably. The Portal serves as hub, presenting specialized research teams with the expertise to address the technical requirements of payloads.


The teams can provide solutions for many key tasks, including payload design, testing, integration, and operation, as well as services related to function, but also planning and execution, enabling the development and deployment of successful payloads and mission-critical services.


For example, communication capabilities of inter-satellite links, modern satellite communication systems, navigation and Geo-Positioning services, emulators for satellite communication links, infrastructure and facilities to support GNSS signal analysis and communication architectures testing, as well as the exploitation of Earth Observation missions’ data.

Il team è specializzato in attività di Ricerca e Sviluppo nel campo dei Sistemi Globali di Navigazione Satellitare, spesso in collaborazione con importanti partner industriali. Il Satellite Navigation Lab ospita un’unità di ricerca dedicata alla progettazione e allo sviluppo di nuove tecnologie e sistemi legati ai GNSS, come GPS, GLONASS, Galileo ed EGNOS.
