The goal is to create a system capable of collecting and presenting detailed and personalized information to users, thus improving the accessibility and usability of the region's tourism resources.
The project aims to develop an innovative system based on web scraping, data mining and a deep learning model to generate information summaries. The result will be an interactive AI chatbot, PiemonTalk, which will provide users with detailed and personalized information on the territory, cultural events, history and curiosities of Piedmont.
The end users of the project are tourists interested in exploring Piedmont and its cultural and historical resources. However, tourism operators, local authorities and promotion bodies could also benefit from access to detailed and up-to-date information on the area.
