The TEIA project aims to introduce Key Enabling technologies into the tourism sector, such as Artificial Intelligence, capable of identifying and proposing new quality tourist experiences, creating a new destination management model based on the knowledge already available online and through the analysis of big data. TEIA will create a new Data-Driven digital approach to creating authentic experiences that maximize returns for local communities. Artificial intelligence will therefore be able to automatically create a new tourist offer even in territories less known by operators, promoting the uniqueness of a territory and its culture and facilitating flows towards less known areas of value (having a positive impact on problems of over- and under-tourism), and promoting the importance of the human relationship between professionals and travellers.

The companies Pro Logic Informatica and Cicero Experience aim to obtain positive impacts in terms of expanding know-how on the application of artificial intelligence techniques to implement a system capable of autonomously identifying new experiences, based on the characteristics of the territories. The project will make use of the consultancy of the University of Insubria, Polytechnic of Turin and University of Turin, which will contribute to the study of the economic and social impact of the solution, the study of a Human Centered AI for intuitive prompt engineering and finally for the development of the most suitable Artificial Intelligence models.

The TEIA project radically changes the paradigm of creating tourist offers: the key to success will consist in the automatic creation of multiple high-quality tourist experiences capable of maximizing the return for local communities by reducing the harmful impact of overtourism. The destination will therefore be seen as an algorithm, with a bottom-up approach that aims to make packages personalized by artificial intelligence available, accessible and usable, based on the needs of the individual user and on the basis of the traces and data provided by the web, available from digital ecosystem also with sentiment analysis techniques and business logic support.

The TEIA project will allow the automatic creation of a new, much broader tourist offer in different territories with great attention to quality and exclusivity, thanks to the adoption of web scraping, clustering and generative artificial intelligence technologies which will make the creation possible of tourist offers in line with the market, but which guarantee the protection and valorisation of the territory, even in areas with little tourism today.
