The course in European planning aims to provide personnel in charge of drafting European research and innovation projects with the knowledge necessary for the pre-evaluation of the project idea, the drafting of the technical parts of the project, the working methodology within an international partnership and the management structure of such projects with relative budget allocation. Finally, the course also aims to delve into the aspect of communication and impact, fundamental criteria in the evaluation of proposals.

On the first day, the focus will be on the development of the project idea not only from a technological point of view, but also from the point of view of building the partnership, the impact of the project in the EU, and the protection of intellectual property.

On the second day, however, attention will be paid to managing the partnership and allocating resources and tasks to each partner. Furthermore, the project structure will be analyzed from a managerial point of view, through the notions of work packages, deliverables and milestones.

The fourth day will focus on the importance of communication in European projects for the dissemination and sustainability of project results, through the inclusion of a real communication plan in the project proposal. In this module, the evaluation criteria on which to calibrate your proposal will be indicated, taking examples of successful cases. The fourth day will be dedicated to a workshop in which participants will be divided into small groups and will work together on an existing or invented project idea - as realistic as possible - in response to a proposed call for proposals.
