Research and Innovation: the contribution of NODES Spoke 2 researchers to the Talk ‘SMEs and Universities: Collaboration, Research and Development’ at A&T 2025
On 13 February 2025, the Oval Lingotto Fiere in Turin will host the talk ‘SMEs and Universities: Collaboration, Research and Development’, an event that will feature researchers from NODES Spoke 2 together with experts from the Politecnico di Torino and representatives from the business world.
The meeting, organised as part of the A&T 2025 trade fair, will provide an important opportunity for dialogue between academia and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with the aim of strengthening synergies and developing innovative solutions in the fields of circular economy, green building and industrial sustainability.
During the talk, researchers from UniTo - Giovanna Antonella Dino, Francesca Gambino, Susanna Mancini and Elio Padoan - will present the activities of NODES Spoke 2, with a focus on the GRIP project, illustrating the collaborations activated with CNA Torino, Scuola Edile and Athena Art. Concrete applied research experiences will be explored, such as the development of circular plasters and mortars and the use of sustainable building materials.
The event will feature professors from the Politecnico di Torino, including Elena Montacchini, Silvia Tedesco and Nicolò Di Prima, and industry professionals, including Master Craftsman Nino Longhitano, who will share best practices and concrete case studies of sustainable innovation.
The talk will be moderated by Vitaliano Alessio Stefanoni, Head of CNA Communication Turin, while the conclusions will be entrusted to Nicola Scarlatelli, President of CNA Turin.
The event will close with a convivial moment, a networking aperitif to encourage the exchange of ideas and future collaborations.
