The HiStoryGraphia project aims to create a digital online platform for the presentation of an organic and interdisciplinary vision of the cultural heritage spread across the territory, read as an integrated system of relationships between things and people in time and space. Only a global and integrated, truly inter- and trans-disciplinary approach allows us to address the complexity of a territory, also in terms of its valorisation and the development of sustainable tourism.

The general objective of the project is the creation of an integrated system of knowledge and valorisation of cultural heritage through the creation of a network between institutions and local communities, for the use of knowledge in various operations of the territory (management, training, teaching, dissemination, tourism ).
The project addresses local communities with special attention. Disseminating and facilitating the transmission of knowledge and values of cultural heritage to citizens is fundamental because it strengthens the sense of belonging to the reference community and is a driving force for local development. It is in this aspect that the ambition and possibility of ensuring a sustainable dimension to the project lies. Local communities will be actors in the re-appropriation of places and objects of cultural heritage, and this element is the bearer of sustainability.
The use of the HiStoryGraphia platform will facilitate the use of a working and analysis method shared with local realities (administrators, associations, schools), which can be adopted and developed independently by the communities, also providing the contents for tourism diversified and sustainable.
