Exploring diagnostic probes and procedures beyond Gd(III) for MRI applications
Info utili
New frontiers are opened in the exploration of diagnostic probes and alternative MRI procedures, overcoming the criticalities of Gd(III).
Goal of the workshop
This workshop, organized in collaboration with the Italian Group for Magnetic Resonance Discussion (GIDRM), focuses on exploring new frontiers in the development of innovative and sustainable probes for magnetic resonance imaging. The latest findings aimed at overcoming the limitations associated with the use of current Gd(III)-based contrast agents will be presented and discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the new diagnostic probes, the related techniques and their potential impacts on clinical practice, thanks to presentations and discussions with leading experts in the field.
Technological innovation and the qualitative enhancement of human capital are key points of the NODES Ecosystem. This workshop is set within Spoke 5 - Health Industry and Silver Economy, specifically focusing on the broader area of innovative and sustainable diagnostics.
The workshop aims to present and discuss the ambitious objectives related to overcoming environmental and safety issues associated with the use of Gd(III) -based contrast agents. To this end, the latest strategies being pursued by current research will be presented, updating participants on the state of the art and stimulating further scientific progress in this specific field.
