Goal of the courses
The C1A course provides training on competitive strategy and its relationship with a company's economic and financial performance. Under the instructor's guidance, participants will explore key strategic models and competitive context analysis to identify market opportunities and threats, as well as the company's strenghts and weaknesses, ultimately defining the competitive strategy. The course will also offer a detailed analysis of key business performance metrics - covering profitability, assets and financial dimensions - helping participants develop skills in evaluating the impact of decisions on business outcomes.
The C1B course provides training on economic and financial planning and the evaluation of the economic feasibility of investment decisions. Under the instructor's guidance, participants will explore the development of a Business Plan, presented as a key tool for success, supporting the definition of clear objectives and the design of action plans. Evaluating the economic impact of these plans also requires the ability to conduct proper investment assessments. The course will delve into mthodologies by covering essential concepts such as cash flows, thr time value of money and the cost of capital, which are critical for correctly applying net present value abd payback period techniques.
The C1C course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to manage a project from the planning phase to ex-ante evaluation, and on to the assesment of actual results. Specifically, participants will develop insights into project characteristics, resource allocation methods, cost measurement, as well as the features and challenges of project planning and control. Finally, the course will cover the stages of economic control of the project.
The courses, inherently transversal to all areas of the Spoke, are part of the NODES project and address the need to develop planning, management, and monitoring skills essential for the success of organizations, particularly start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The target audience includes entrepreneurs and their collaborators who need to define and implement projects with positive economic and financial returns.
