frodi alimentari
On November 11th in Pollenzo an event dedicated to the alteration and counterfeiting of food products

The topic of food fraud, understood as all those illicit conducts aimed at adulteration, falsification, alteration and counterfeiting of food products and their regulation in a European and global perspective, will be the focus of the meeting that will be held on November 11th in the Aula Magna of the University of Gastronomic Sciences (11.15-13.00).

The topics covered will concern, in particular, the application of the new directive on greenwashing in the food sector, the issue of misleading commercial communication from a criminal perspective under domestic law and the issue of Italian sounding and symbolic communication on labels. Finally, an in-depth analysis is planned regarding the application of the discipline to the wine sector.

These topics will be debated by three researchers belonging to the NODES project (Lorenzo Bairati, Michele Antonio Fino and Elena Corcione), by the lawyer Nicolò Ferraris of the Turin Bar and by two members of the Carabinieri Agri-food Protection Department of Turin, Lt. Col. Raffaello Ciliento and the Ord. Mar. Fabio Chiariello.
