The HBP project aims to make a significant contribution to solving current environmental problems and offer consumers an alternative compatible with a healthy lifestyle. The goal is to revolutionize the hot beverage industry by transforming infusions into espresso drinks, extracted with coffee machines. This project, developed by Wilden Srl in collaboration with the University of Gastronomic Sciences, is divided into two main lines of research. The first focuses on the experimental development of an agro-ecological cultivation system of medicinal plants, aimed both at increasing the fertility of the Ticino Park and at evaluating their suitability for the creation of new recipes. The second line of research is dedicated to the components and the extraction process of plants, with the purpose of patenting.

The HPB project, known as “HerbPress”, aims to create a line of herbal teas to be ground and extracted in espresso mode. It also includes the creation of a Herbal Lab & Academy, a training center designed to promote sustainable and balanced lifestyles.
The project proposes an innovative, sustainable and regenerative agricultural model, based on the cultivation of native medicinal plants, specifically designed for the Po Valley and the Ticino Park. Furthermore, it promotes the use of medicinal plants as part of a sustainable eating habit, aimed at well-being, pleasure and health.
The HBP project revolutionizes the traditional method of preparing herbal teas, multiplying the occasions for consumption. Thanks to a rapid extraction process, HerbPress allows you to obtain infusions in the same way as espresso coffee: concentrated, tasty and pleasant. This introduces new flavors and active ingredients to the world of hot drinks, offering innovative and healthy products, with a positive and sustainable impact on the territories of origin of medicinal plants.
