Next Generation Mobility 2024

The Flagship Projects dedicated to sustainable mobility present their progress at Next Generation Mobility 2024
Next Generation Mobility is dedicated to the mobility value chain and to bringing together innovation stakeholders—companies, startups, universities, and institutions—who will engage in discussions on innovation, business opportunities, compliance, and sector reforms.
Spoke 1 will present the progress of its two Flagship Projects dedicated to mobility, focused on work on complementary energy carriers to achieve European decarbonization objectives. In addition to the project’s scientific leads, Fondazione Piemonte Innova will also be present to engage with the business community on the needs of mobility value chains.
During the second National Conference on Hydrogen and E-Fuels, hosted by the event, Professor Marzia Quaglio, PoliTO, will present the H2Mobility project as its scientific lead. As the name suggests, the project focuses on the study of hydrogen—specifically green hydrogen, produced, distributed, and used in the most efficient and sustainable ways. Green hydrogen is a key energy carrier in the energy transition path, essential for the progressive reduction of emissions in the coming decades, particularly for heavier vehicles.
Electro is the Flagship dedicated to charging devices, materials, and commercial developments for the mobility of the future. The project will be presented during the e-Mobility and Biofuels Conference by its scientific lead, Professor Paolo Guglielmi from Politecnico. The main ambition of the project is to enhance the innovation capabilities of companies operating along the mobility value chain, providing the opportunity to experiment with and test new solutions and applications.
The event is an opportunity to explore the new technologies, systems, and solutions that the research staff of the Partners involved in Spoke 1 are developing in the field of sustainable mobility.
