The company Astradyne wants to optimize the SolarCube 3U 1.0, an advanced unfoldable solar panel with origami pattern, designed through the adoption of FRET (a material created by combining high-strength fabric and distributed electronics) as an electro-mechanical substrate. 
The proposal thus has two main objectives:

  • The refinement of SolarCube's solar panel design to ensure optimal compatibility with standard cubesat platforms and dispensers;
  • The development of an integrated EPS system intended to be housed within SolarCube.
