The project aims to develop a state-of-the-art on-board computer for satellite builders and operators, with the goal of enabling autonomy for satellite operations directly in orbit. With this integrated computer, the satellite will be able to autonomously manage its on-board resources and work plan, thereby optimizing communications with Mission Control Centers, the load on assigned teams, and the costs incurred by operators. Thanks to the advanced learning algorithms at the heart of the system, the satellite will also be able to optimize data acquisition and processing, as in the case of Earth Observation (EO) missions, facilitating applications such as environmental monitoring, land resource management and disaster response. The result will be an integrated solution that includes hardware, middleware and software
