PARADIGMA
Multimodal digital active rural landscapes in Livorno Ferraris

Scheda del progetto
Comune di Livorno Ferraris
The objective of PARADIGMA is to create a web platform which, through the use of a WebGIS component, allows the use of the territory of Livorno Ferraris and its surroundings, also through integration on the aforementioned platform with the material necessary to provide an exhaustive narrative of the municipality and its surroundings. It will be possible to explore the main points of interest thanks also to the availability, again through the use of WebGIS, of cycle tourism itineraries that branch off from Livorno Ferraris. The ultimate aim is to offer those who use the platform the possibility of remotely using a means useful for providing a broader and more detailed understanding of the rural and historical landscape component of the Vercelli municipality.

PARADIGMA will create a network that includes the territorial aspects of interest and the historical component in a single WebGIS platform, which will allow a three hundred and sixty degree use of the territory by means of the digital component and the information emerging during the Knowledge Building phase. An interactive platform will be created capable of bringing together some aspects of the rural landscape of Livorno Ferraris and its surroundings.
The portal will be a new model of enjoyment of the landscape-cultural heritage, both from the point of view of valorization and that of the active participation of the population in the processes of protection of the environmental heritage, which is now also possible through new web tools. The creation of the platform will contribute to the digital transition process understood as systematic and organizational renewal through technology and culture, in order to improve or replace pre-existing ones.
The project can also be replicated in other areas, given the high adaptability to the narration of landscape, territorial and cultural components of the rural environment. the use of a WebGIS platform, which can also be viewed in the form of a Web App, is well suited to these purposes, allowing you to navigate as you wish by changing scale, display and delving into topics and themes in a timely and precise manner with respect to the area of interest. analyses. API (Application Programming Interface) platforms will also be used for navigation on bicycles, with the support of QR codes scattered along the routes and the possibility of exploiting the geolocation of your mobile device.
