The academy is a prominent educational event dedicated to both internal and external members of the University of Piemonte Orientale, including master's students, doctoral candidates, residents, researchers, and business representatives.
Aim of the course
Regenerative medicine plays a central role in the NODES project, especially concerning age-related diseases.
This rapidly developing field aims to repair, replace, or regenerate cells, tissues, and organs to restore normal biological function. It relies on various innovative strategies, including the use of stem cells, advanced biomaterials, tissue engineering, and gene therapies.
The primary objective of the event is to provide an update on the state of the art and research in the translational field, with particular reference to the use of innovative materials and approaches.
Six internationally speakers will be present:

- Prof. Evzen Amler (University of Prague)
- Prof. Massimiliano Caiazzo (University of Utrecht - University of Napoli ''Federico II'')
- Dr. Araida Hidalgo-Bastida (University of Nottingham)
- Dr. Stefano Di Marco (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia)
The sessions will be conducted in English and in-person. The training event will accommodate between 150 and 250 participants. This initiative is part of advanced training courses and is completely free for all participants.
