EXPO Osaka 2025 - Spoke 1 NODES presents research and innovation

Spoke 1 Aerospace and sustainable mobility in Japan for EXPO 2025
Politecnico di Torino and Ecosistema NODES are participating in and presenting their projects at EXPO Osaka 2025.
Fifty-five years after its first EXPO, the Japanese city is once again the center of global attention. On the artificial island of Yumeshima, visitors can discover the culture, traditions, and innovations of more than 150 countries in one place.
Thanks to a call for proposals from the MUR, Politecnico is bringing some ambitious research and innovation projects related to aerospace to Osaka, inaugurating the AIRONE exhibition. The exhibition can be visited inside the highly popular Italy Pavillion, which already houses, among other great Italian works, Leonardo da Vinci's Codex Atlanticus.
Spoke 1, Aerospace and sustainable mobility, is an integral part of the exhibition, showcasing the results of Flagship projects created thanks to the Ecosystem. These include Space4You, the Flagship dedicated to space missions, which will soon launch the Space Knowledge Gateway.
This portal will enable research institutions and companies to swiftly access the extensive knowledge available in Space4You via its Distributed Laboratory, which unites the expertise of Spoke 1 and Space4You Partners.
From 2 to 4 October, visitors will be able to explore the AIRONE exhibition and experience the projects and prototypes that symbolise aerospace research and innovation in the Piedmont ecosystem first-hand.
On 4 October, Spoke 1 will participate in the 'Wings of Innovation' talk, alongside another major NPRR project: the National Centre for Sustainable Mobility MOST, represented by its Spoke 1 'Air Mobility'.
Giuseppe Scellato, a professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin and the scientific coordinator of Spoke 1, will present Spoke 1's activities.
