ADAM The project responds to the growing attention to environmental protection, proposing alternatives to plastic packaging without compromising food safety standards. The approach is based on the principles of the circular economy to increase the environmental, economic and social sustainability of food systems. It aims to improve the safety, quality and healthiness of food production, preserving the sensorial and environmental aspects. This will be achieved through the use of natural materials, preferably of organic origin, and the development of innovative, healthy, protein and energizing formulations using local raw materials from organic farming. Furthermore, the by-products of food processing will be valorized in a circular economy perspective.
The aim is to improve food production, distribution and consumption through the implementation of intelligent systems and the connection between actors in the supply chain, reducing waste, improving logistics and ensuring a sustainable and high-quality supply of food.
